Producer Notes: A rare subspecies of Agave Americana, the Sierra Negra take anywhere from 18-30 years to reach maturity. Originally only released in Mexico due to scarcity, this is only the second batch of the variety to reach US markets. Light in body, with high citrus notes, bitter chocolate and spiced pepper on the nose and a dry, lean finish on the palate.
