Producer Notes: Aromas of deep black cherry and boysenberry fruit are underlaid by spicy vanilla flavored oak, along with supporting flavors of raspberry, plum, licorice, and chocolate. The wine has a well-constructed young palate, with fruit crammed into the structure to form an intense ripe boysenberry center.

James Suckling, 93 Points: Notes of ripe plums and wild berries with dark chocolate, baking spices and black earth. Complex and structured with velvety tannins and plush, delicious fruit character. Balanced, rich and lingering with hints of walnut at the end.
