Niebaum-Pennino, 1882, Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 (Napa Valley, CA)

Producer Notes: With its deep, red garnet color, the Niebaum-Coppola Cabernet Sauvignon 1882 leads off on the nose with attractive notes of cocoa powder, black cherry and ripe black plum. Immediately round and supple on the palate, the wine shows ripe flavors of cassis and black cherry, with a deft touch of French oak on the finish. Full and well-textured, this vintage of 1882 is particularly vibrant and fresh, with polished tannins of excellent quality.

James Suckling, 94 Points: A solid cabernet with lots of blackberry, chocolate and walnut character. It’s full-bodied with plenty of fruit and a flavorful finish. Juicy and intense.
