WHAT IS BARBERA D'ASTI?
Wines produced in Italy's Piedmont from the vineyard around the towns of Asti, Alexandra and Casale Monferrato. These wines are generally regarded as slightly less full-bodied than those from Barbera d'Alba, even though both are made from the Barbera grape.
