J. Wilkes Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 (Paso Robles, CA)

Producer Notes: Dense, ripe enticing classic Cabernet aromas abound. Black Currant, ripe black cherry, toffee, fresh ground coffee, cigar box and baking spices. On the palate, black berry fruits on the entry with echoes of fig and raspberry jam, a bit of mocha and sweet pipe tobacco and finishing with persistent cherry, crushed violets and tannins built to age.

Wine Enthusiast, 90 Points: Roasted cranberry and dried rose petal aromas make for a light entry to the nose of this bottling. The palate is lightly bodied as well, with roasted cranberry, strawberry, pencil shaving and herb flavors.
