Walt "La Brisa" Pinot Noir 2019 (Sonoma Coast, CA)
Producer Notes: The 2019 La Brisa opens with ample cherry, strawberry and cranberry flavors accented with dried herbs and tea. The rich texture and fine tannins are complimented by cool-climate acidity and whole cluster complexity. Toasty barrel notes carry through a savory finish.
Jeb Dunnuck, 93 Points: "The 2019 Pinot Noir La Brisa hails from the Sonoma Coast and has a rich, ripe, sexy style that still shows elegance and purity as well as complexity. Lots of black raspberry and mulberry fruit emerge from this medium to full-bodied effort, which has plenty of bouquet garni and spice-laced aromatics, ripe, soft tannins, and a great finish. It brings lots of fruit in a balanced, textured, incredibly satisfying package.
Wine Spectator, 92 Points: "A woodsy aroma leads to well-spiced flavors of chocolate brioche and dark plum tart, ending with concentrated toastiness on the long, juicy finish.""
