Producer Notes: A kiss of French oak smooths out the abundant acidity in this rich and creamy 100% Chardonnay from Hudson Vineyard. The nose opens with honeysuckle and soft tropical fruit before settling into subtle apple and Bartlett pear aromas. The texture is seductive as anything, with flavors of caramelized brown sugar and vanilla wafer swirling around more tropical fruit. The finish is round and silky, thanks to 9 months in 40% new French oak, lingering on a butterscotch note.
